Great fun picture. Nice texture effect on the sand, and light catching the sea. The bold black & white of the flipflops stands out against the more natural sand and sea colours, and the shadow is good. thanks for sharing a glimpse of summer, B

Good concept - along the lines of less is more and let the viewer make their own decisions. Wonder if the flip flops were either to the left or right (not centered) would provide more impact. I like how you did the shadows of the straps.

Hi, if it is me I would be in the water!!!lol. the feeling of the picture is great along with the colors used. nice texture of the sand. only one small itty bitty problem. the right shoe strap. perhaps a little boo boo?? good job.

Thank you for your kind review, and for your keen detailed eye. I and other artists who have reviewed this artwork have never noticed this glitch on the flip-flop. I have already corrected this error for future viewing, using the Paint program on my computer.

I really like the simplicity and idea of this picture. It has nice colors and framed perfectly. Nice little shadows on sandals. This should sell nicely at some beach business or store.

This photo makes me feel as if I'm sitting down, sucking on a nice tropical drink, watching the surf or the sunset...or maybe sunrise. For that, I wish the horizon had been included. Otherwise, nice work. It has a cartoon sense about it. Very effective sand and water.
