A truly wonderful scenery - a photo with perfect sharpness and clarity - a photo which I think would have a very good chance in the contest! Taking this photo from this angle was a great idea and I like it a lot, thanks, Carolisa

What a lovely picture, and a fine organization helping the disabled children. It is a very touching photograph. The initial impact is strong, and the subject matter retains one's interest. The lighting is good.

Oh its a lovely photograph, very expressive though, i Like how this kid is cuddling and hugging Santa, nice angle and the composition with lovely natural lighting. Everything is well balanced. Try to clone the highlighted top left corner. Overall lovely. All the best for the contest

Great shot. You can see from his expression that Santa truly is touched by the hug of this young boy. Very touching. My suggestion to you would be to blur the background to take away the brightness of the lettering and of the sign and the balloons behind Santa because I think it takes the eye away from Santa and the boy and causes you to look at the letters and the balloons. You might even consider cropping the letters and balloons out to make it a more powerful shot.

Thanks so much for sharing this special piece.

Thank you Paulisa, I appreciate your generous review but especially your suggestions very much. I hope you are not offended id I don't agree in this case. For me is the background an important part of the story. If I take is out it looks like a typical family Christmas with Santa. It isn't. I even considered to have more of the background especially the sign in the picture but since not many people on FAR speak Spanish it would to be to hard to understand an really distracting. But I need the decorations, the palm trees and the bright Mexican colors to show that the situation has nothing to do with the usual Christmas, commercial Santa's for taking photos and expensive gifts but all with the so often forgotten spirit of Christmas what bis giving and helping who is in need.

HI, thanks for the feedback. You're right about the story line. In that case, I would suggest that you do add more of the background. I think because there is so little of the lettering, the viewer doesn't understand the signifigance of what you are trying to say. By adding the background and showing the sign and balloons, the viewer will understand, even if they don't understand spanish. It would add more interest and understanding to your piece for the statement you are trying to make. Either way, you cannot miss the emotion of Santa with this child, it is still a touching moment.
Have a very blessed new year and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Nicely framed shot with such bright colors. I love how Santa's eyes are closed as he's hugging the little boy. Looks like it's really from the heart. You've captured the emotions of that moment.Good luck in the contest.

Yes Santa is moved an it comes from the heard.I died see tears glistening in Santa's eyes. Everybody who sees these kids and the joy we were able to bring to them would be moved and never forget.
