Wow I missed this one, but glad I found it. what a very cool way of doing this. Longated and stretched, love the colors and reflections. So soft and very quieting to look at. Lovely.

This is excellent. I like the terrific use of light and shadow, as well as the limited range of colors. High scores for impact, creativity, presentation, color harmony and lighting. Technically wonderful.

I like the elongated "tall ships" look of this. The shadows are a nice addition, and the birds balance the setting sun. Like the way the two end boats are smaller pulling your eye more to the center.Donkeyoatey

This one reminds me of the scenes last summer, I visited Bergen in Norway when Tall Ship Race took place. OK, except the Sun part, we had rain almost all the time. Great presentation, beautiful colors, excellently composed. Thank you for sharing this beauty.

Thank you, Xennia!! You made me laugh when you said "except for the sun." How dare it rain and ruin you whole vacation...lol. That reminds me of when I first came to California. I was so anxious to see everything, and it rained the whole first week I was here. :)

What an interesting digital painting. I really like it, even though the yachts are anchored with their sails up (or are about to set sail en-masse), thus, about to weigh anchor. However, due to the fact that you portrayed the boats this way, it enhances the picture beautifully. The colours, stylisation etc are wonderful.

lol...you're right. Realistically, it is wrong for the sails to be up, but I guess we can pretend that all the ships are slowly sailing toward us. :) Thank you so much for the great review, Robin!!

This probably won't tell you much, but I did it the same way as the others of the Royal series, ME-Bild. Thank you so much for the excellent review!! If you are into digital, I can explain it to you further in a message. :)

Wow... This is beautiful MW..
Your composition and colors work to perfection. I really am enjoying looking for all of the very subtle differences you designed in to this. It is those differences that really make this stand out and say I am special..
Just right...Dennis

I like your composition with the great focus on the boats and the sun. The boats are so elegant with their divided sails, and it looks like they have two masts. I also like the shadows in the water and the pattern of colors in the sky. I can see the same forms as the shape of the sails. It's a beautiful color contrast between the brown boats and the light yellow with nuances on the sky. Thank you for sharing your royal fleet in a wonderful light! Karin.

I think this is my favorite of your series. I love the simplicity, the soft colors, the elongated forms, the reflections, the sun and the birds; it all comes together really well with this technique! Now we're talkin'
Strong composition, great contrast, well framed and overall beautiful. I'd give this more than 5 if I had any. Only suggestion, just for a thought...
The bottom right side needs closure, it needs to be darker as it leaves the frame. I like the bright area, but not all the way to the edge. If possible, you should reflect some of the darker color from above down to the water. That way, it won't run off the frame.
