Sounds like you were really under pressure to produce with this one Lucien!! I love the use of only black, lilac, blue and amber - to me the black is the darknes of the stage, the dancer is blue because he is in the spotlight, the lilac is the luminosity of the lighting and the amber is the glow of the light. You have done a super job of capturing the movement and rhythm of the dancer with your strokes. Wel done yet again!

Sounds like you were really under pressure to produce with this one Lucien!! I love the use of only black, lilac, blue and amber - to me the black is the darknes of the stage, the dancer is blue because he is in the spotlight, the lilac is the luminosity of the lighting and the amber is the glow of the light. I think this is far superior. Much more emphasis on the shape of the dancers movement reflected in the space behind. A limited choice of colour has given you time to concentrate on the dance. It is very spontaneous. An exercise it would take a lot of concentration to get into. Jenny

Good art with the flowing lines and contrasting, yet complimentary colors. It's a nice composition, but I do think the empty white space could have been utilized and would only add to the overall presentation.
