Wow Suzanne what a great painting the field of depth that you captured in this beautiful painting is awesome love the sky and the island that is in the horizionlove how the ocean looks to be at high tide rolling in and receding out at the same time very realistic white foam in the waves just really bring this to life and you'r beautiful dog she looks to be having a great time beautifully done arthound john

Very nice painting of Polly on the beach. Love the wave action in the distance and the way you have shown just a very small part of the land mass in the distance. Beach and water treatment in the foreground is also well done giving it great texture. Polly is well drawn and painted. Wonderful view. Enjoyed it a lot.

Very nice, Suzanne. Great composition and beautiful waves. I like the color pallet and I especially like the color you used to the wet sand. Really sad regarding Polly, but you have done a beautiful job painting her. It makes you wonder just how much pain she may have been in even as she appears to be having a great time splashing in the water. Excellent sky and the island in the background adds great depth. Wonderful work on this, and good luck in the contest!!

Wow Suzanne what a great day at the beach for Polly. She looks like she is having a great time and will be remembered always by those who knew her and loved her. The ocean is so beautiful the color so perfect. The beauty of the waves crashing on shore and the sky, clouds and far away mountain all add to your excellent painting . Polly is very cool too. Bingo!

Awe so sad, what a fun seascape and memory.

Is this a border collie? So precious.
Love your water and waves so well done, lots of good motion. Could jump right in. Your little dog is so well done and I love the little shadow you painted in.

What a wonderful job! I love the dog on the beach Polly looks so happy! The colors and contrast are wonderful. You have really captured the details in this picture. I only wish that the sand was a little lighter in color so Polly would stand out a little more. Really is a sweet and precious picture. Thanks for sharing and I'm so sorry about Poly, I lost my dog "Baby Girl" this past summer and I really miss her.

Great picture Suzanne! I really like how you do water, very realistic.
I'm actually working on a couple of pieces using water myself, and I never realized how hard it is until now! I'm taking notes!
