forsome reason, i saw the exact same bout in a dream i had last night. :P i forgot what it was about though :( but it was good.
the sails look realistic. i might try the oil and canvas...once i see a few more pictures that is. but for now, i'll leave it to the pros :o)
and i'm going to learn how to draw water like that!

This is a very soft and tranquil image. I like the subtly of the emergence of the boat from the clouds. The colors are soft and pleasing. Very, very nice work.

This is a very dreamy and elegant piece. I enjoy the starkness and simplicity of the piece. There is so much detail in your simplicity. May sound silly but it's like a fine piece of expensive high count linen...it is simply elegant! Very nice composition. Well done! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Shawn this really reminds me of my sailing days and coming out of the fog was always a welcome relief. You have done this well and the hint of blue sky and the seagulls a perfect touch to the mystic waters below.

This is lovely, it really does have an ethereal feeling to it. I like the softness in the sea and the sails.
Its also a nice composition...I think the only thing I might have done differently would have been to make the gulls just a tad darker to complement the body of the boat and give, again, a tad more substance. But overall a really nice piece of art. Maggie

Great detail and a great job done of bringing power to the picture.
