the atmosphere that you have created here is very emotional and powerful at the same time, love the mood of the deep color tones and lighting on the water and the wind swept feel to this image, the depth of view and hint of sun shine attempting to burst through adds an air of mystery and enchantment to the story telling ability here, very creative and artistic work, love it.

I hope I haven't said this statement too often - I think this is one of your best works I have viewed to date. You nailed the motion. Compositionally I start at the beginning and finish at the end. The clouds and just a glimpse of the moon - brilliant. I admire your color choices with this - it could have got too dark very quickly - but you maintained the balance. Congrats - excellent work.

This is a very dramatic ocean image that my eye was immediately drawn to. The dark colors are unusual for this subject and composition, but work extremely well. Great work.

Nice depiction of the rough seas with a wonderful hiaku to go with it. The roughness of the water is evident and makes me feel almost sea sick. I love the moon shingin through the heavy clouds. Impact, creativity and presentation are very nice. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not a painter, but this painting caught my eye. To me the water looks like a painting, but the way the sky is painted it almost looks like a photo. The sun looks real. I like it.

Love your poem in the artists notes. The lighting in your seascape is wonderful and your wave motion is well done. I grew up by the Pacific Ocean so this appeals to me. Tone is wonderful also. Great composition. Well done.
