Jack is a frightening dude. The colors are Aggresive yet receding. Well balanced, maintain a nice pattern.The eyes are wicked.Great piece

Jack is perfectly scary for the holiday. A unique artistic expression, nicely realized. The worms are a very nice touch!I especially like the dark and brooding background with its scary faces fading into view. Adds nicely to the overall mood of the piece that you are trying to convey. Good luck in the contest!

So which is Jack the obvious Jack 'o lantern, or the creepy face in the back of the image? I think it's the guy at the back. Great job on this, so much detail and the lighting really adds to the Halloween feel. Good luck.

A bit on the trepidation side... I enjoyed this and it isn't you usual Jack with the furrows turned to the side and forming facial expressions in a tiger like fashion. This is not only well done, it is inspiring as I now will by a pumpkin and carve it out from the side and possibly add a triggered flash with the candle.
