Hi again. Im not as keen on this one Shawn, only reason is i think this would be better in colour. I do like the image though, very dramatic and i really get the story here too. I love the snake and fence in the front really helps to balance the image well. Maybe you could try this in colour ? Thanks for sharing it from Aj :)

Unusual.
The horse shows its power ... both in it's body and the movement of breaking off the stake.... due to the danger of the snake.
The silhouette shows very well all the detail.
Very creative and good to view.

Thank you so very much for the great review, Tripod! Shawn :)
Comment from R. Eugene Wallace
There will always be a need for this kind of artwork. The rays focus the eye on the horse and add to the overall design. I like the broken fence idea and the horse design is well done. The frame is also a good touch.

This looks very nice for not having much for color and the impact is very good.
The snake at the lower right helps to tell the story in this work.
Very nicely done.

It is easy to see what has upset the horse. I don't blame him one bit. The radiating rays express the horse's fear very well. I like the silhouetted form of the horse, the snake, the grasses and the broken post. Well presented with good impact and storytelling. Thanks for sharing.

I really like the stylised composition and silhouettes. It is a very creative yet simple; picture, that makes me want to look a bit longer. Robin

Thank you so very, very much, Robin! He's not like your horses, but I had fun doing him :) I've got one more silhouette, then I'm going to try a real one in living color. LOL. Again, thank you! Shawn :)

Great! I can hardly wait to hear how it turns out. Robin.

I like this very much. I especially like the silhouette style you have used. I also like the inclusion of the frame into the painting. Very nice work with this one. I have missed reviewing your work.

Oh dear, that seems to be an escape in the last minute. That snake looks like a Rattler. The situation is very clear even in the stylized of the subjects. I think that stylish look and the background of rays dramatises the situation more than color or realistic painting would.
