Sigh. I did love using Paint Shop Pro, but unfortunately, one can't get it as Mac version, but this is a lovely piece, Moonwillow. Well done.
It has a real sense of peace and serenity, reflected by the blue colours of the lake and sky, the misty background and the vivid contrast of ochre colours for the reeds.
The birds in midflight are a colourful contrast and capture. The only thing I would put forward as a suggestion, is that teh duck in the background be slightly hazier, or faded a little more, to meld it into both the foreground and background and give that little bit of added perspective.
IN general though, beautifully balanced and framed, catching the eye and making me smile.

This piece intrigues me to learn more about digital art. I like the coolness of the blue with the earth tones you've used. It's a mixed bag of tones that make me think those ducks are flying south for the winter.

Beautiful use of contrasting colors! The use of different shades of blue is simply breathtaking! I also love the shadow work in the water. Just an elegant piece of work!

Nice sense of the colour layering often seen in misty landscapes off into the distance in this work.The bands of various foliage running accross the image make varied and pleasant shapes .the flying ducks help to pull the eye into the composition a few more of them in soft focus disappearing into the mist could add even more depth.Nice work.

I really like the atmosphere conveyed in this picture and the blue colours in particular. It has a nice depth and feeling of distance to it. I would have scored higher if the ducks were more realistic, their cartoony look is out of keeping with the rest of the natural image.

Nice color harmony throughout the piece with a wonderful reflections on the water of the trees. I like the detail on the grasses and the mallards. I guess they are headed for cover. Well presented with good impact. Thanks for sharing.
