What an interesting capture, I really like the subject matter here. I have never seen an ice storm and the interest in this photo is good, nice back story. The branches covered in ice really catch you attention. The dark background of night was a good choice. I may have liked to have seen the iced branch in the frond in focus do I could see more of this phenomenon, Over all an interesting image, good luck in the competition.

Nice idea and the colour and contrast is good but I personally feel the wrong branch is in focus here. I think it should be the front one.
