Well done . I love the picture and how it draws you in. You lighting and balance is well done also the way the sky seems to open up. Thanks for sharing.

That is very odd. I received your review twice :) I thank you for the wonderful review, wildfangs, but with the 4 star rating, it seems you feel this still needs a lot of work. You don't mention anything that needs adjustments. :)

What I saw was a whole lot gray and shading in the forground leading into the hills ,it wasnt untill got to the sky that you started get intrested in the picture. now of course understanding the title frozen wasteland makes the picture what it is. so I guess the question would be if you were to do over again add libbing what changes could you make to to the hills and forground to capture our intrest. that was all that was lacking.therefore the reason I gave 4 stars .

Frozen wasteland. I'm assuming that is very far north or south. This is done in a kind of soft almost representing a snow blindness atmosphere. The sun is peaking through behind many clouds. I'm not to sure there are birds in this kind of environment. Food supply is very scarce. In the area that we are seeing, I'm not sure we would see sharp dun tops like this. The wind usually blows so much and hard that everything is pretty much flat except where there is actually rock and earth underneath. How you have handled you media is good. I like the shading and shaping.

It is a beautiful picture. I like the subdued colors. The two birds make a good balance in the picture. Great initial impact and a high level of technique
