You have captured his little face very beautifully. The overall shot is a little soft but one has to be very quick and can't always get it perfectly right when dealing with wildlife. I love that you have such wonderful eye contact.

This is a very nice portrait of a bird. He actually appears to be scoping you out! Great color and focus, and the close up provides good initial impact. The depth of focus really makes the subject pop. Great shot!

I love these birds, and I've tried to get a picture of some of the blue jays that frequent my yard, but could not get a clear picture like you did. I love the blue on this little guy and the sparkle in his eye really adds to his overall appearance.
