Perfect capture of the bird who appears not too pleased with your closeness. Great color, love the contrast in the bird and against the rough perch. Good focus. Nice picture.

Experiment away this is great. Look at that wing span its really a hard shot to get background is subdued and soft to flatter the subject. Color is good detail is nice cropping is very good, I really like this

I do like it. The movement in the picture is a great capture. The focus is clear even though you know he is flying away. The framing is good as well. I like the blurred background and the focused tree stump? Great capture.

This is an illustration of a good Photograph. Some might say the range could be improved, there is too little or too much contrast, but it is really great for this image, if anything can be perfect, you achieved it.
Biggest problem for artists, is making their art in a photograph, look its best, you have done well, would not change a thing.
As Ansel Adams or Edward Weston and many others have said, "80% of really Great images are created in darkrooms." Today, they would be saying in Lightroom or Photoshop and you have an example of good post processing.
About 90% of the images we see in FanArt could be improved with a course in Post Processing, sometimes only a tiny alteration, can make a dramatic difference... Lynda.com has one that I really like.
Happy to enjoy one that is in the top 10%. :)
Overall, you accomplished something very good. The highlights, middle tones and shadows, are very good. The speed just slow enough to give it some blur, to show movement. The full wingspan you caught is great. Probably they could not be improved.
This fits my "personal taste" and others might not like it, but Id not change it due to negative comments. If we do, then the ones who like it, will not. We cant please everyone, so its best to just please ourselves.
