Oh, how cute! I wonder why you wanted to change the texture to poster? I think I would have preferred the natural look for the baby, as this kind of hits in an unflattering way ~ but that's just my opinion!
Great use of technique and technology, wonderful lighting and details, even with the postering!

Thank you so much! The focus was a little soft. The pose was to cute to just get rid of so when the poster edge was used it made it useable. I probably won't post anything like this again.

I wonder what you will conclude from reading your reviews? Probably the only thing to learn is you can't please all the people all the time. It comes down to personal taste. You have a strong image here and it shouldn't need this treatment. However if you say the focusing was a little soft, I think you are right to play to the images strengths, rather than to just discard it. I would prefer the reaal thing for this subject but I still think its worth 5 stars as it is.

Willie- I myself do not have much experience in this area as well but I can tell you that I like the results that you came up with and makes for a very interesting piece. The baby's facial expression is priceless and I think the coloring and clarity are great. Good Job!

Being easy. Any rating on this type of work is so personal its hard to be helpful. The original looks like it had good framing and focus. But to use the poster filter on a face just doesnt get it for me. Now if you had used a layer mask and doen it only on the blanket that might be cool. Just dont like it on faces. trying to be easy!

This is such a sweet photo of a precious subject. I love the frame and perspective of the shot. The lighting and focus look like they're right on. Cute baby. You've framed your center of interest up great and the lighting and focus are fine. But in this case the mixed media applied makes the blanket appear dirty and doesn't do this little angel real justice. I would suggest removing the effect as I'm sure the traditional photo is terrific.

I love this picture and it is a perfect shot of this baby. It brings out the sweetness and lovable expression of the child. I have worked with photos and use the poster edges for many of my photographs. The color match is great. Nice sharp picture, the eyes of the baby are the main focus of the picture. I have had people like you to tell me how good it is and others that did not like it. I am in the middle. I am a traditional photographer. This was just an experiment. I am really glad you liked it. I will play with all the featurs I can, but ps. has so much in it! Thanks again.
