Actually, there is no reason not to. There is color and good lines and contrast. There is everything needed for a great image. The hues of blue are delightful. The black background is a great contrast. Very nice image.

How to make beauty out of something that is an irritant! I like this...and the story behind it. Presented really well. The way you "framed" it has the viewer really taking a closer look to figure out just what it is. Lighting is done very well and I like how the looping wire? are in the center, keeping the eye on the poles and whatnot (how's that for technical terms?) that are the subject matter. Thanks for the creative shot and for sharing.

I think it is unique. You are right, it is not something you would commonly see photographed. But you did a nice job and it does show interest and creativity. It really looks rather abstract in nature.

i all for diversity and showing images that are not beautiful. this strikes a very important balance and the sad fact is that unattractive items such as this certainly exist. you have though made it seem quite attractive.

Good artist notes and have to admit to having a chuckle when I read it. And isn't that true. Mind, you made a good job of second best, and anyway, there are far too many sunsets on here. Ok the mast is not the prettiest or the best I have seen, but guess I can look at it - and chuckle. And hey you even had a black background so my eye would not be distracted. Good focus and exposure.

Everyone goes for a 'accepted' beautiful scenes or objects. But to find beauty in mundane ordinary objects needs real talent. Like you have demonstrated amply here.I like the colours and the loops of wire on horizontal bard. interesting!

Great shot, very detailed and you have captured all the intricate joins, wires etc, very good presentation, like you say not one you would normally take a photo of but I found myself doing the same in india when we saw men up the poles fixing the wires with no shoes on, no ladders and no harnesses to keep them safe. Thanks for sharing Sandie :)
