Excellent focus and lighting really show the details on this fellow. Totally new pose of a heron- I haven't seen one standing with his wings out, maybe it's for balance on the ice.

the bird man strikes again. Nice catch with your usual good exposure and sharp focus. Nicely composed. Would have been nice had he actually taken off. Like your background giving good separation.
