This is beautiful!!! I love how open the rose is. I like the reflection of the rose on the table. I like the water droplets on the rose. I like the colors of the rose, the orange, reddish color. I like hoe the background is so dark and blurred but the front is bright and focused. I give you a five for sure. ~Damaris

Semi classical image but well done with a lot of visual appeal. Good composition, like the color and the reflection adds a nice finishing touch and balance. Good sharpness and nice lighting.

You have afforded this photo a lot of planning and it has paid off by producing a very unique and interesting photo. The framing technique you have chose gives it a subtle and elegant feel which highlights the delicate petals of your rose. The way the light shines on each individual petal gives the viewer the opportunity to really appreciate the romantic beauty of this piece. Everything in this photo works for me from the reflection of the rose to the crisp focus of the petals and has produced a very sensual photo blooming with stories and desires... Just when we think we are done viewing this and have safely tucked it into our memory your addition of the little droplets of water add interest that keeps us there just that moment longer. Ah! Beautiful!

Simply gorgeous top notch professional shot. Creative ideas to give light and excitement to a beautiful rose. If I had six stars I would surely award them to you for this perfect shot. I absolutely love the lighting and the reflection! The water droplets are just the icing on the cake. Fabulous shot! I would proudly hang this on my wall it's sensuos and powerful. I'd like to see a whole series of these.

Thank you very much. I have just started to take photos in RAW, and now I cannot understand why I haven't done it before.

Great work!! I love it! Unique qualities and lovely experiment :-) The highlights are just right and the shadows bring out so much detail. The bright edge on the bottom is perfect to balance the photo and the water droplets are the one addition to add even more interest and depth. Thanks for sharing! :-)

Beautiful chromatic balancing...the contrast between red and gold is gently pronounced and sublimely outlines the chiaro scuro effect. Displacement of subject was appropriate for the pleasures of the eye as the lamp black background helps the eye seek the warmth of the gold hue....excellent
