Excellent catch. Frozen in the moment perfectly. Love the wings and movement if the feet. Good focus, colour and light.You can see that this was an exciting moment.

Great action shot, love the way you've caught him with both feet off the ground, and that little splash of water under the back foot as his foot has lifted. Nice sharp focus so we can see the detail of his head and wings; great centre of interest, initial impact strong, lovely colour harmony as well. Excellent artist notes add to the story telling ability of this shot. Many thanks for sharing!

Love your notes, I like to read all the stories about how the photos are taken. You did well to catch such a great action pose so sharply but still able to see the sense of movement in his wings and in the wate as he takes off. Great angle and it fills the frame well.
