Hi Willie.
What a lovely lass and yes she has a bit of a strained smile but still lovely with it.
There is no distractions and that you have made sure of.
Not sure about the chicken being in the picture but it adds color.The flash iight has spoilt the lighting but it has produced some nice catchlight in all the eyes

The little girl is very cute, and how fortunate for you that even a bird was involved. Her curls are so lovely and shiny and the eyes so shiny and bright. The backdrop is really perfect and the balance in colors in this shot is great. Your portrait is nice and sharp and you have used the light well. Wonderful composition with good balance. A lovely portrait of a child and her unusual pet. The image is very cleae with good lighting and the closeness of the crop enhances the photo. The colours are lovely and the vignette appropriate.

The focus on the chicken is also very good, but almost missed it looking at the beauty of this child. Good composition, cropping and framing. Good technique, technical excellence and story telling potential. Creativity in title, presentation and artist's notes.
