to be honest, I really was just sitting at my desk in a college at over 40 yrs old having to do A levels to continue, especially as my ex had walked out on us, saying: if you think I will be married to a woman better educated than I am you can think again! so I had to succeed, especially as my stepfather had not permitted me to go to art college or Uni either- but to comfort myself, I sat sketching all about me! this was the street outside of the college classroom on Granville road..
