That is a great photo! Very good color, and a out standing focal point. I like the story. I think the reflection from the water makes the photo that much more interesting. It is great how you can see the birds eye as he fly's by. I Really like this photo.

Nice Photo, I like the green coloring of the water to accent the bird. Only thing I think I would have liked better is if a little more water was in the scene at the bottom of the reflection. But, that's just me and I could be wrong.

This is beautiful. I love the focus and clarity of the herron and the reflection of the herron in the water. The green colors in the water make the water look beautiful. Great capture.

your bird depictions are second to none. i do love herons, although when i kept koi carp, they were my sworn enemy. the reflection here is truly awesome. well done willie and keep up the fine work.

Thank you so very much! I love my lens too, I would like to have a 1000mm but the 25,000 is more than I have! I guess I would wish for more so I will be thankful for what I have!

Technically this is an excellent capture of motion, subject in focus while taking off like that. Composition is also very good, you left looking room in front as to propel him forward. Balanced and nice reflection to go along with it. Must have a steady hand, looks like something from National Geographic. Very well executed.

Great capture of wildlife in action.
Needless to say, the focus elements were top notch for this shot.
Your touch ups are delightful. I love your composition with the shadow off the bottom of the image.
Frame this one and hang it so many more outdoors men can enjoy it.
