I am happy, you got new ideas. I tought you might.
[I miss the credit card for a higher ranking. I do not promote enough of my pictures.]

i'm going to have to promte them for you, although I don't review enough either. but you can bet that the next painting I promote will be one of yors. You deserve a much higer rank than what yu are.

    Yur talent should be promoted.

Thank you; but No, don't do that. Is against my nature to take promotion from anybody, even my best friends. I just had a bad summer with to many technical difficulties here. Caribbean living isn't what it seems in Jimmy Buffets songs. :-)
The Firebird was promoted, but it made it only to about 20 views or so. :-)

this has the most impressive impact. the whole picture is one of great balance and vision. the way you have expressed yourself through the various creatures, is very wonderful indeed. i love the way you have taken your influence from this lovely poem. i think this scene really exists, the texture and supernatural quality, looks like a completed reality.

i truly love it cleo. a picture of hidden beauty and hidden creatures. this reminds me of the north american tribes who take hallucinogenics, to find there way home when lost, or in trouble.

Thank you very much for your compassionate review; but especially for looking thoroughly at the picture and seeing what is in it. The obscure bird above the wolf is the firebird himself. He is a twilight character. In Stravinsky's ballet he fights with Ivan and the wolf against the evil sorcerer Kaschei; but he is also accused of steeling the kings golden apples regularly. The shadow birds are creatures of Kaschei.

Very interesting and unique in design. I luv the crimson background of the bird, and the grey fox. Nice technique and story and artist notes. All put together well and a very creative composition!

A very creative composition. The focus seems to be more on the wolf than the birds though, as that is where the eye is drawn to. Nice job. Great color.

Thank you very much. Truth it is called the firebird , the wolf is an very important character in the classical tale. He is companion to the firebird but more reasonable and responsible then the red firebird who is accused to have an addiction for the kings golden apples. That is why the wolf is not in the color range of the others. The Wolf is protective against all dark and evil symbolized by the black birds on the left.

You have used so beautiful colors that compliment each other in this artwork - I like how the dog (wolf?) is visible a bit here and the birds almost shine as it was made of gold, thanks..

Thank you very much.you exactly got the points. It is indeed a wolf. In the fairytale he is fighting against evil with Ivan and the firebird. The birds and apples are magical and supposed to be golden. To get this color was one of the most challenging tests for me.

I'm not familiar with Polonsky but you've really captured the spirit of his words here.
The strong reds work very well and overall impact is strong,
