This is beautiful the way you painted it. I like the way you have put all the colors in this. The wood pile just adds interest to the painting. You have entered this in the wrong contest. It is a painting not a photograph. Maybe you can contact Tom and he can enter it in the right contest. Excellent painting.

Go back and read down the rules to about the 3rd paragraph. It states that the contest is for photographs only. No digital or traditional art work is to be presented. Your painting is beautiful and it needs to be entered in the right contest. Contact Tom and see if he can move it to the right contest.

I like the majestic composition of this picture. The bold strokes and contrasts give it a feeling of wildness which is tempered by the addition of the woodpile. Great impressionistic technique.
