A little too incest for me but really the legs seems a bit disperportionate. I do like the grass blending though.

The first impression is good and the story is original. The colors are good and the presentation is well chosen. Thanks for sharing.

I like your elephant and the figures on him. Really nice! Unfortunately your background skies and landscape lacks thus takes away from the picture.

Beautiful piece , I like the bright colors. there is a bit of negative space behind the figures; I feel like the blue of the sky should have carried down behind them more to tie all of the elements of this work together a little better. but this is a small issue and overall you have a nice painting either way. I would encourage you to mix your colors a little more; your work is steep with primary and secondary colors. but that is less important than being knowledgeable of your color range and making acute judgements. there's nothing wrong with such poignant use of primary/secondary colors, but don't be "afraid" to mix it up when you feel that mixing up the colors is needed.
best of all here is your ability to exude human form so simply and elegantly. beautifully conceive and masterful executed. that is my favorite part of this piece.

I agree. I am not very adept at mixing colours. May be because of the environment I have grown up. I am trying to embolden myself to mix colours. That you will find in my oils. Simply because i can always go back and correct it. I am very happy you liked this one despite its shortcomings. many thanks for your time , review and suggestions.

A very nice work here of the four bare ladies riding this big beast. Great idea here and you have used bright colors to draw the viewers attention.

The figures you drew definitely resemble a "family". Your quote is a bit sad, however. Your picture might be missing something. Perhaps a matte or frame or a bit more color to close the open edges.

How happy and whimsical this piece is. It represents everything the family in the words of the poem has said. What fun they are all having in the elephant who is moving merrily along with a song in his heart. To me this is what art is all about, it tells the story of your feelings and you are able to capture it for all to see. I would have liked to see a bit more sky moving down toward the family and less of the grass below. It to me would zero in on the subjects. I love the simplicity and movement you have created. Even if time is small, always try to create like you have here. Nice work
