Nice bird. Not fond of the lighting, or the detailing. Resolution isnt very good either. With the right editing, this could be really amazing. Thanks for sharing.

Great initial impact. Very good focus, lighting and color harmony. The wonderful portrait with the glint in the eye is the center of interest. Good composition, cropping and framing. Good technique, technical excellence and story telling potential. Creativity in title, notes and speed in which the artist was able to make adjustments.

Nice capture of female finch. I like the sign of action in the food in her beak. She looks like she can't talk with her mouth full. I like the golden hue from the sun on her feathers and the glint in her eye. Nice work on the background. Thanks for sharing.

a super high grade of quality and the eye matches the backdrop. superb capture and wish i could award a 6. this bird is so beautifully coloured and you have to wonder at what nature can produce. obviously you have to be very skilled to do it justice.

The bird's eye looks fairly sharp. You choose a good f/stop to give you an excellent DOF, thus keeping very good detail in the whole image. An excellent choice of shutter speed, one needs a pretty fast shutter speed to freeze the bird's very slight movements that birds do. Your color has excellent density, contrast and saturation. You created a very good background to make the main subject stand out. You captured excellent details in the feathers giving a very nice texture to the bird. An excellent photograph. Well done!!!
