I really like the originality of the piece. The colors, especially the water, are very optical.
I like how the the lilly pads and bushes are all the same perspective. Thanks for sharing.

I'd love to see inside your head!
Love the color mix and the originality of this piece.
It is very "cool." You delivered to your daughter!
It reminds me of a wood burning and hand painted jewelry box made and given to me by my son. It had a cluster of blueberries on it w/ one bright green on in the middle of the cluster. So cool. Thanks for sharing.....a nice end to my day!! :-)

Art is undoubtedly the cornerstone of all Photographic paths, tracing it's true roots back to cave drawings and etchings.
Digital Art has surely passed everyone's expectations, and has led me to occasionally explore the challenges and creativity offered by a Fuji Finepix S2800HD Digital Camera.
I do not hold a teaching qualification, but I am BTEC National Diploma accredited in Design and a NAWE Professional follower / member.
All Artists surely have a unique thought process interacting with their craft.
As reviewers, we have to accept that our observations cannot always hit bullseye from a recipient's viewpoint.
My aim is never to cause offence.
Observations: The Portrait Composition adds a really dynamic quality to your image.
Captioning is simple and has been well thought through.
Creativity of presentation: First Rate
Color Harmony: Outstanding
Centre of Interest: Well seen
Technical Excellence: Respect
Technique: Imaginative
Story Telling Ability: Strong
Conclusion: A worthy addition to your Portfolio.
Thank You for sharing and ehancing my journey as an Art Reviewer.

A really beautiful work. A very aptly named work, The Dance of the Fireflies, dancing to the music of the waterfalls. A very peaceful and contemplative place. The depth and colors are outstanding., even some VanGogh-esque moments, resulting in an excellent work. Thanks

This is awesome ... High initial impact, drama and style. The waterfall is especially well-rendered and its height and multiple cascades are impressive. The firefly lights surrounded in a tiny glow/halo remind me a bit of Van Gogh's stars.

I remember years ago, one of your first posts on FAR was a waterfall. Something Asian if I remember right. This one did brought the other back to mind even it is different. Must be the Asian look which as has to me. I like the angle very much. The night mood as well, but I am not so sure of the colors. Those are fireflies, but I miss the fire, the golden and silver shine the usually have. Maybe the night is just not dark enough.

Quite a departure from your norm in many ways...I had not seen this one before and love the piece. White is sometimes difficult in a painting because it seems to pull the eye along, but you have placed the white very nicely in random but connected pattens and flow. THis has an overall good feel to it, very nicely done! jean
