This photo actually looks like a magnificent (Steiff) stuffed owl with perfect glass artificial eyes. I mean, it is just perfect, so perfect and with such a stare that it doesn't look real, especially the eyes. Those eyes are really something else again. I mean, they don't look real. They look like the glass eyes in Steiff bears - the best made. Just a tremendous photo. Also, as usual you added wonderful notes, which I really appreciate.

His colors are stunning
And just love the eyes.
Have always been a Owl fan.
I did not realize that owls could get this big and that they would go after other birds.
Great photo and great story telling

Thank you very much again Alyssaa for your marking and comments. I do appreciate it. I took it at the Ellingham fair, They had a tent full of different types birds and animals. Crows buzzards and magpies all attach smaller birds to eat.

This is an awesome looking bird. The eyes are so penetrating looking. I can't imagine how big he must be to kill a deer or fox. Just think what he could do to the dog and cat population. Your write up is so informative Just an excellent picture. A beautiful bird.
