Nice work Diane, but Im sorry to say not one of your better pieces,The trees and sand are good but as for the sea and sky i know that you can do better,I love the idea behind this piece,maybe you could try and revamp it from scratch.Sorry to be so blunt on this Diane but I think Ive seen enough of your work to know how much better this piece could be.

this one you agree with the main ratings on this one but I didn't like it either, just have been sort of brain dead so I thought I'd post it, I was trying to redo it with all the advice i've gotten but I just can't seem to get it right so I think its had its day LOl

Its not always easy to do pictures i dont think any way , maybe one in future you might be able to do something similar and it,ll get GREAT reviews.
We all get to the point of pass sell by dates...LOL so why should a picture not be the same or anything else come to that...LOL
Think ive gone into waffle mode..lol
I must admit im haveing awful time tryin to produce work just lately so i just keep trying to get something together but failed so far,think we need to take a total break and start again fresh as i find that works sometimes.

I just finished another piece but not real happy with it either but I'm going to post it and call it a day. thats going to be the last post until I can come up with something that I half way like any wayLOL

I know what you mean about not being halfway happy about things we post that sums up my last few posts so i dont think im gonna be posting for abit like you untill im really happy with something,may even go back to my abstracts again for a while.

You will hate me. Here I am with my criticism again. The Idea is a good one and everything else is fixable. Good thinks first. The forest is excellent. The beach could man be a bit darker at nightfall but is fine.The couple is OK, but there is a odd black line, like an arm to many between the man's arm and his body. Maybe it's her arm, but she appears to have that arm near her body. When I see that right she stays in front of him, both looking at the ocean? The shadow in the water looks odd too. It seems to be the shadow of one, not of two people. I think also the shadows of rising moon would be longer. The sky seems to have a wrong kind of blue. I think it needs to be darker about the blue of the darker parts in the water. Sorry, but that is what I think.

thats okay cleo you have the same opinon of just about eveyone who has viewed this one including me LOL. I wasn't real happy with this one either, just had to post something , maybe I'll let my grand daughter post another for me LOL
thanks for your honesty its always refreshing. I'd rather have someone give me their honest opinon instead of writing the same thing, shows that they really aren't looking at the painting at all, at least I can tell you realy pay close attention to my work and that makes me feel pretty darn good that you'd take that kind of time to help out another artist.

Give it another try! The idea is really good and I think you could fix it upp to a really good picture. If you do it again move the moon a little more to the middle. It is not really necessary but I think it would look better.

This is a great landscape piece. However, the silhouette of the couple is not natural. The moon does not look natural. Too big. I do like the colors. Good artist notes. Thanks for sharing.

I like the trees in this. I think your moon is a bit big and low and the sky is too blue as you mentioned. The black spot is distracting also.. was it supposed to be a shadow? The idea is a good one though and it has lots of color so all is not lost.
