Like it I love it! Can't believe this was a photograph of squash. This looks like some of the work I've seen on here from computer programs by a couple of my favorite artist. This is absolutely amazing

Damn, it's hard to believe that this used to be a piece of food! It's really beautiful. The color and composition are great. Initial impact is good. It's an interesting contest entry. Well done and good luck!

Thanks bosch! I think I would call it a photographic creation, because it was born from a photograph but evolved into something different! I think it's one of the reasons I love mixed media,though standard photography is a favorite of mine too! I'm glad you enjoyed what I created.

This is beautiful the way it turned out. I like the coloring and the delicate patterns in this. The repetition is excellent. This looks nice on the black background too. Would have been better if you had not put the little picture of the squash in the corner. Good luck in the contest.

Hi Anne, Thanks for the wonderful review! You're right about the small picture of the squash I added in the corner. I didn't want to add it to the final image,but I thought there might be some question about the design I created since this was a Food contest. After your comment I decided to take the little picture of the squash out, because I wanted everyone to concentrate on the design alone. Thank you for giving me a chance to re-think what I had done.

That is just amazing. The metamorphose of as squash into something what looks like made from blue ribbons and silver thread sawed on black velvet some when way back in Victorian times; but it looks modern as well. It is a very decorative design I could see adoring an evening purse. Best luck for the contest.
