how precious! your story touched my heart . I love animals , cats , thank god they are doing better there as a species in Greece ..I would have done the same , wander what happened to her and her kittens ..?..beautiful capture , love her green eyes , she has such a nice expression on her face ..a pleasure to comment on

This is a nice shot. The color, contrast, and lighting are good. The framing is good too. The subject is sharp, and good story telling ability. the white vignette adds to the picture drawing you in. Thanks for sharing.

This is a beautiful portrait of the gorgeous cat. Yes, I agree with you about Greece. I love the colours you have in the background and the beautiful green eyes. The way you've faded out the edges makes a perfect frame. Very lovely composition.

Awww very cute! Love how those eyes just pop lol So green, very pretty eyes! Nice backdrop and effective lighting though perhaps a little over exposed in places. Maybe... good shot though! :)

What a beautiful cat and with such lovely eyes. I am glad to hear that they are catching what we call feral cats. These are very wild ones that are totally afraid of people and live on their own outside. There are a number of organizations and people in the US that do what we call spay, neuter and release. They trap the cats and spay the females and neuter the males and then release the cats back where they were caught. The cats are too wild to ever be tamed and this way they don't reproduce and they don't have to be killed, which is what happens to so many unwanted animals in the US. To me, it is the most humane way to treat these animals. Most of whom come from someone's pet that they threw out when it was no longer convenient to have. I am a cat lover and have posted a number of photos of CFA pedigreed cats on FAR. I've had both pedigreed and rescues from the shelter. They all make wonderful pets. Right now I can't have my Bello with me, and I miss him terribly. Hopefully by this time next year, I'll be able to move to where I can have him with me. Hopefully he will readjust to me in a short period of time. I love the purr of a cat. I like dogs, but nothing beats the purr of a cat when you aren't feeling well.
