I'm loving this for the almost painterly look to it and the old world feel to it, being a steam train of course. I don't think it's a strange thing to photograph, looks great to me. Can I ask, did you do any doging and burning on it to get that look?

Like the framing of the shot itself as well as the composition - the way the rail is running at a slight angle, the steam on the left, other bits on the right (my knowledge of train parts has just run out). Great piece of locomotive engineering and a pretty fine shot.

This is such a crisp picture. I love the classic color. I have seen a train exhibit similar and it is quite fun for children. There is so much story telling ability from this picture.

Good initial impact. Good focus, lighting and color harmony. The center of interest are these long and hard working wheels that have carried so many people over the miles. Good composition. Good technique, technical skill and story telling potential. Creativity in the title.
