Very nice photo here of these eyes. I like the beautiful colors here. I have a cat that has pretty blue eyes - she is a true winner.

I love cats and I think you really captured this cat's eyes perfectly. I have taken a fair number of cat photos, all of them of CFA registered cats and all but one of them was a show cat. Since I am used to attending a LOT of cat shows I noticed something that is quite natural, but is masked at a show. There is discoloration in the inner corner of each eye. At a cat show, prior to taking the cat up to the ring, they first clean this portion of the area around the eye and then they use makeup to cover any remaining discoloration. When I post cat photos, I do clean up the area around the eyes, since I know how a show cat should look. Your photo is more natural, but it is something that I noticed immediately. Since you are doing such a close shot, it would be difficult to fix this in a photo because the fur around the eyes is so visible. Rebuilding the area would be a LOT of work. You would only be able to do it by working on only 1 or 2 pixels at a time. A LOT of work. It would be interesting to see if it could be done and still look natural. Others probably won't really notice it that much because it is quite normal for a cat to have this discoloration. I've just watched a lot of cats having their makeup applied. Some of them travel with more makeup than I do, lol - they actually do.

Yes its a very clear shot. The details are amazing. I believe to see the texture of the eyes as clear as I see the single hears of the fur around them. Even the light reflection in those eyes are perfectly clear.
[I agree, cat eyes are amazing.]

This is a very good photograph. I like the way you have captured the eyes. Your image is very well focused and quite sharp. The exposure of the photograph allows the viewer to look deep into the cats eyes. Very nice presentation! Well done!

Nice photo. Well balanced, focused even at this close, and definately gives the viewer a "mood" of being maliciously watched. Good work.
