Beautiful fall forest setting . I like how the path and the person at the other bring you in and establish depht . The light at the end ,and the narrowness of the path make think of ( the light at the end of the tunnel) within the death of the season is a very positive statement of hope and better day . This a very expressive painting emotionally .appropriate colors scheme for the season depicted.skillfully done . Great and beautiful work . I like it .you are very talented and creative yourself corrinas . Manchild60

aww this has to be one of the best reviews I have had, I love how you have seen this through your eyes, and am glad that all of that came through. I am a huge colourist so painting something like this was a little on the gloomy side for me, I did add extra colour splashed through trying to achieve the effect you have described.

You are a very expressive as in emotional introspectiveness . As artist our emotion are the drive and inspiration behind our work . The end result always speak of the artist himself . Well done and you're welcome

I really love what you have done here. The limitation of color just works perfect for the time of the year. You should have entered the fall contest with that one. It is perfect. I love these piled up leaves on the side, with the red color changing to orange farther away. The textures of wood and leaves are as beautiful as the colors. Great detail in this one and beautiful dept.

Thank you so much.I know I am kicking myself with the entry. I had already submitted something, something that has no chance of winning as the rays were all wrong. Really annoyed with myself, this would have been ideal. I am so pleased you like it and thank you so much for rating all of these even when the dollars have gone on them. You are always so encouraging and supporting of my work, it means so much to me. Thank you Cleo!

You're welcome. I remember the other entry. You are right in kicking yourself because that one here would had a real winning chance.

Excellent job, a really atmospheric drawing. The path does a great job of drawing you into the picture and I love the colours you've used.

This work is amazing! It makes me feel as if i'm there. The colors and textures are wonderful, and i especially love the lone figure at the end of the road.

yes i can see exactly how you have translated the photograph to a pastel depiction and fully admire the medium of choice. really good, solid work and takes into perspective many fine artistic points but chiefly the feeling of depth and perspective.

Thank you so much, I was quite worried how this was going to turn out, was a bit of a mess to begin with but it went well. The pastel worked well on the tree effects, kinda made it look grainy. You should check out the guys photos though, they look like paintings themselves!

This is a lovely picture
looks like a place I'd want to be
good perspective and depth
like how there is a limited color palatte
and then how the reds really speak out
nic to have a figure up the path
nice sensation of having all the trees line the path...almost cozy
