very good shot and a very interesting story the plant is beatiful , ours it will be red, nature is beautiful colour harmony clear picture it looks like velvet technical excellent and lightning well done table.

I have never seen a purple Poinsettia either Annie, this is my first. Very interesting! You notes are packed full of information. I like the textures within this flower. I must say even though you snapped the shot from above it seems to be a very good angle. Good exposure showing off the different shades of purple in this Poinsettia. I like it. Well done Annie.

Beautiful plant here! I have never seen a purple poinsettia either. This has very pretty & unique colors. The green in the center draws the attention across the entire image. I also learned a lot from your notes about Advent! Thanks for sharing the photo & the information!

I've never before seen a purple poinsettia as well.
Love the "quilted" look of the petals.
The arrangement of the leaves is definitely a nice touch.
The little splash of green among all the purple stands out as well.

Sorry! Yes, I did mean to put about the edges. It looks as though you have put a vignette on which, together with the frame takes the eye away from the picture.
