I have no doubt in believing that those roots are the biggest tree roots that I have seen anywhere. They look truly enormous! The shot is well composed, but pity about the cars. It is sharp and well exposed. Fine work, good shot!

Very interesting looking tree. What kind is it? Good title with the kids in the BG. It sure looks like a great tree to spend a little time at taking photos.

Thanks, it is a Moreton Bay Fig which is native to Australia. They are magnificent trees, on my list to return and get some different shots.

What an interesting tree. Just fascinating, what charactor.Focus seems a tad off and it would be nice if you could have gotten an angle that would eliminate the cars. Maybe a lower angle would help. I like mellow colors and the lighting is good. Cool photo and nice subject.

Thanks, I left the cars in to give contrast for the size of tree some like that others don't.

Composition is very good-the depth of field is an issue-a softer background with a sharper tree would make a better photograph-the cars and fence just too busy and distracting from an idyllic subject...I Might have been tempted to pump up the contrast just a bit and strengthen the greens

Thanks for your comments.

This is a good subject Zilyram but I am distracted by the cars and the people from the actual subject. If the shot were from another angle, it could be a nice natural abstract.

Sorry you are distracted by the cars - they were purposely left to give the viewer a contrast for sizing. Thanks for your comments.

The roots on this tree look huge. I bet it is a neat place to play and see. I like the way you took this so you see so much of it. An excellent picture.

what an interesting subject, the people and cars in composition give scale to the enormous tree ,glorious lght effects that enhance the roots.
