Your patience was rewarded. How cute he is. I love the focus on the bird. You can almost count individual feathers. The red ornament is a very nice addition that honors a bit of Christmas. Nicely composed and great technical merit.

I added a simple thing like a larger platform to a feeder and the birds hated it they would not use the feeder until I removed it so I understand how frustrating this must have been a waiting game until the Chickadee got hungry enough to get some food

Beautifully captured, A nice sharp image of the bird. Its a shame the image isn't as sharp in the Christmas ornament. Beautiful, will make a great card for next year.

Love this chickadee! Wish the tail had been included. The clear, sharp focus on the bird's head directs one to the center of interest. The ornament is a surprise element in the composition. It brings an additional dimension to the shot and I love the reflections of the entire shot mirrored back!
