I think you did a fine job here artist. The dress is flowing and the movement clear. There does appear to be something a little off in her neck and I think that maybe a little more definition under her arm to form an arm pit would have been a nice touch. Overall I think this was really nice. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you so much Tillom. Ahh yes well what happened was that in the original she was wearing a dress that covered all of her arms. I wanted this style of dress in it so I made it up and to be honest I wasn't 100% sure on the shadows under the arm. Rather than guess I just put a slight shadow in. Do you think its the hair that makes the neck off? I added that as well. Im pretty sure the angle was the same as the pic though, she was bent right over in an arch. I do think that piece of hair is a distraction or rather an obstruction to the flow of the neckline. Though, I am a big fan of long flowing hair! The angle looks right, I think the hair is throwing it off as well as lack of more definition..under the armpit and where the neckline is. But I am glad you changed the dress! It is gorgeous!

This is interesting the way you have drawn her. I like the way you used the space in this. All the red in this is great. I think you need to work a little more on blending the colors rather than just putting the white on top of the other colors. Nice details in this.

Thank you Anne, I did actually put the light flesh tones down first and then darker on top. This was was the look I wanted to achieve, a very rustic feel. I was trying to capture the feeling of movement like a frenzy, I thought it would be fitting with the theme.

I wish she wasn't so turned to one side. The arm that is up seems a bit sharp and rigid especially around the elbow. Good details.. like the dress.

Thank you so much, thats how she was positioned in the photo and I really liked the pose, I wanted a typical flamenco style pose that would capture the movement within the dance. As for the arm, yes that was redrawn several times lol Thanks so much for the review

Well it is a very pleasing pose with lovely shades of read blended with the blue.
I love red fingernail polish on a women and my red haired wife uses it most of the time because of it. she looks lovely.
