Love this! Is the meteor portion a photo of an actual rock (you referred to "my rock" in your notes)? Whatever the case this posting is dynamic! That meteor looks like it's coming right at me at a blistering pace. Great balance. Wonderful sense of movement, the gold appears to be a propulsive agent. The white curve gives this work an expansiveness and contributes to the cosmic flavor you have so skillfully portrayed. Watching for more!

Thank you, great comments and review! I explained the rocking my next post...I had to do just one more..this universe thing is addicting...but I still love my rock! It is about 16" in diameter, has holes and textures all over it, so any angle shoot, looks like a different piece. It is made out of some kind of a plaster, I think. Glad you like it, I need a break from it! Thanks again.

Thank you! I'm getting so many cool ideas from this site that I'll have to live another lifetime to explore all the possibilities! I am a huge fan of rocks, including meteorites and thus was drawn to this piece. Great imagination! Looking forward to your next "addiction", LOL!

Very interesting. The colors are bright and really make it pop. The glow from the meteor really brightens it up. Nice work.

Thank you again, nefonzeno, I hope the edges are better...its all in the lighting and quality of your green background...(no wrinkles, shadows, and lots, lots of light, without spilling on your subject! Tricky.

Beautiful! Very creative, interesting and the rock really stands out as if to say 'I am here'. I love the glow silver of the rock, looks like it is in 3d with the orange glow surrounding it. The white hazy line which looks as if it is outlining another planet gives the meteor that much more effect. Very well done

Another high-impact shot. I like the gold tones against the silver. It has a nice effect. The white outline is also good.

Don't apologize you have to do what you're inspired to. I like this one .It appears said the meteor is starting to heat up as it s entering the planet atmosphere. Good perspective and depht . Colors schemes great and accurate . Great light . Great composition and light . Well done .
