Amazing shot, love the colors and fully agree with you on how they work together...the water droplet is as clear as "water" which is not always clear...very nice setting...what does "added flood filter" mean, what tool?

Thank you very much for the lovely review. A flood filter is a plug in filter for Photoshop. I bought it from a site called Flamingpear and added it to the other filters in PS.

This is so appealing. looks like a mouth blowing a bubble. The base with the reflections are enchanting. The vivid scarlet red has great contrast. The drop is exquisite and has wonderful depth. NICE

That is such a cool and creative picture and quite effective! The drop of water magnifying the color of the leaf and refracting some interesting light adds to the effect.

Very nicely and creatively composed. I like the lovely soft background, and the flood filter. The water drops are well photographed. You have beautiful colour in the leaf. The image looks to me like a moist pair of lips!

I should not have read your artist's notes first because it prejudiced me. Rather than the petal of a flower, I thought you had captured the lips of a subject and this was meant for a valentine's day message. Alas, it is a wonderful image.
Thanks for sharing my friend, Cyn

Creative thinking Annie. The flood filter makes for a nice effect. The red color of the peddle is very rich. The water droplet adds character to the image. There is a good transparency of the droplet and creates depth within the shot. I am kind of up in the air about the white within the large water droplet. In some ways I think the white takes away form the look, but on the other hand it kind of adds to the effect. There is a great amount of detail to be enjoyed. The use of light does lead to a nicely exposed photo. There is a very good shadow that is pulled towards the foreground.
I am going to go with a five Annie, because I think the white light in the droplet is a matter of personal preference. I am not crazy about the white, but that doesn't make the photo bad.
Fine work with this shot Annie.
