Interesting capture Cleo. Does it get very crowded there? Your image is like you, very imaginative. Out of 6's, naturally but I like it. you can clearly see the bus.

Thank you! It used to get crowded in winter; but never as much as Cancun or the other tourist traps. We used to have a lot of snowbirds who have winter homes here or drove their motor homes down; causing a 10x raise of population in the season. We also used to get RV-caravans back packers and vacation tourists from around the world. Not much of it anymore. Do to the economic crises and the violence in northern Mexico; the season here is very low this year. For my understanding there are still a lot of tourists coming to the Yucatan, but most of them stay in the tourist resorts pretty much separated from cities and villages.

Definitely an unexpected angle.Good focus and clarity. The lighting works very well here, no blow outs or glares. Nice color tones on the silver. Good composition. Good luck!

i really love this image. so unusual and almost giving the idea of a supernatural world. mirrors always have this uncanny knack, for opening such doors but obviously a difficult proposition taking a decent photo (of one). you have demonstrated with this, that you are willing to experiment with different concepts and certainly the artistic value is reflected back to the viewer. unconventional but highly original.

Thank you very much for you review and your wishes. I didn't realize but you are right. It reminds of a immage in a bottle. I think it is because that back site of the mirror is bulging outward like a half of a bottle.

Lots of people use the FRONT side, but being you, and like me, a bit off the norm..you used the BACK of a mirror, and to great advantage. I like the convex reflection..different, unusual and creative! Donkeyoatey
