Your use of the candle for back lighting is great. I really give that gold dust effect. I also like that the whole shot is not lite from the candle, leveing in darking above the branches gives it more depth.

I must say Annie, I am more in favor of the artistes ability to be creative then I am the image itself.
There are some interesting effects in this image; However it really does not tickle my taste buds to much.
As always Annie I will put my personal preference aside and view for the quality of your work.
The bronze look gives the image a lot of character. The balance of light is good.
I find that the eye is drawn into the image well, to discover the many texture that lay within.
Creative Annie, and well presented.

What an interesting idea with some wonderful results. The candle creates a great effect bringing out the patterns and what appears to be small air bubbles in the ice. Good idea well done.
