It is definitely colorful and very well suited for this contest.
I really like the many different colors you have used and how you have carefully placed each color in an appropriate area of this scene, so that there seem to be 'waves' of color moving through this painting. It is also very appealing, the way you have scattered the softened green leaves throughout your painting and accented all of this with the darkness of the tree trunks.
The more I look at this work of art, the more I like it. Very, very pretty. Thank you for such beautiful landscape and all the best to you for this contest. To me, this is the winner!

It is definitely colorful and very well suited for this contest.
I really like the many different colors you have used and how you have carefully placed each color in an appropriate area of this scene, so that there seem to be 'waves' of color moving through this painting. It is also very appealing, the way you have scattered the softened green leaves throughout your painting and accented all of this with the darkness of the tree trunks.
The more I look at this work of art, the more I like it. Very, very pretty. Thank you for such beautiful landscape and all the best to you for this contest. To me, this is the winner!

I am so touched that you felt this deserved it, im a happy bunny :) This was only supposed to be a quick release for me and a break from the big mofo Im painting but I have grown to like it so much Im getting it framed up.

This is a great colour study and thus a great entry into the contest my friend. I love the pathways of petals on the forest floor and the colour they carry with them. The tree trunks indicate large mature trees and therefore their leaf rooftop would be quite extensive blocking out a lot of the sunlight and thus the colours would be more green. This is an amazing piece of whimsy, I suggest you change the category to fantasy or abstract though. Cyn

As usual half way through the painting I was thinking uh oh this isn't working but the more color that went on the more it started coming to life. I landed up getting this framed in the end, who would have thought it he he

I know who's this is coz I've seen it on another site and it is not your usual thing at all. It has a vaguely impressionistic style to it that is pleasing to the eye and as you say is most colourful and bright, helped by the brilliance of the light peeping through the canopy - what more can I say?

I only lurk the other site, primarily to see the work of FAR members I know are there in finer detail than FAR allows so that I may give a more considered review, however I did sell a picture from there once!
The overall standard on that site is way above my league!
