Nice pov and composition which includes the primary subjects, as well as some background to get the feeling of the busyness of this market. Great clarity and your modifications worked well with regard to the natural and rich colors of the fruit and vegetables. Just a note, the background trees and sky seem a bit faded out, but I am not sure if that is from the camera or the modifications. Otherwise, this is a good shot and truly tells a story.

Nice pov and composition which includes the primary subjects, as well as some background to get the feeling of the busyness of this market. Great clarity and your modifications worked well with regard to the natural and rich colors of the fruit and vegetables. Just a note, the background trees and sky seem a bit faded out, but I am not sure if that is from the camera or the modifications. Otherwise, this is a good shot and truly tells a story.

Thanks, fotofriend, these are helpful suggestions. I know I lost some vividness in the photo when I took the shadow off the faces. I tried to saturate it decrease brightness, can't seem to get it back real colorful and keep the shadows off:)

IT is good to hear that I am not the only one who gets frustrated trying to make some of these modifications. ;o) My Wise Mentor, advised me well, and now I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager since it is truly point by point adjustment and it also includes a "mid-tone' adjustment. I play with that for a while, and then go back to Picasa for any further adjustments, such as Shadow, etc. It has truly made life a bit easier for me in my amatuer state of being. :o) If you have any questions, just send me a message.

Wow! That fruit has such vibrant colors! I like the angle taken so that you can see both peoples faces. The title needs a little more creativity. Otherwise, nice job

I usually do not care for photographs like this with people intersacting. I like things and clean shots. well this one is cool. complete, cropped perfectly for my eye, wares beautifully arranged, no random arms and legs cut off and in the frame. in focus. I can see and hear the inetraction spot on work Thank you

Thank you, very much for a sparkling review. I wasn't even going to get out of the car--all that walking (been here many times)and my husband looks at everything "twice", ha! But I remembered my camera, so I had to get out. I really appreciate the helpful review:)

Farm markets have become really popular here in Ohio, especailly since the recession. I love all the color and textures of the produce here. Strong initial impact. Great colors, focus and lighting.

Yes, a very small town, and this market is out at the edge of town--a tiny town. But people from everywhere seem to come here. Thank you so much for such a friendly review. I know about big cities--lived in Chicago as a child--watching so much traffic from the window upstairs. And I remember Daddy taking us walking and places like Lincoln Park Zoo, and we also went to Montrose beach, and Chinatown--but no we hardly had any money--he just made it all possible. Now see what a nice review like this reminds me of:)
