Those are interesting looking flowers. It looks as though the tips of the petals have been burnt, although I'm sure that's the way they are. I like the angle you shot from, with the furtherest flower leading the way into the frame, and your dark blurred background to isolate. Good luck in the contest.

Not familiar with the dogwood or its blooms but this looks pretty nice to me. Your image is enjoyable, well composed, sharp and has good exposure. I have liked looking at it and reviewing it. Very nice photo, well done!
