Just one little comment before I start the actual reviewing. You have left your name on the image and this is meant to be a blind entry. I would suggest that remove it and post the edited version.
This is quite a creative piece of work and the part of the image with the red and strong blue around a planet is striking. I am not sure if the initial photo was a low key one, but that is none of my business. I like how this human like creature is standing there looking into the universe and I like the way the light is falling on him. Still this would have been even better if a part of him had been sitting more in the shade. I am thinking that this would give a better low key impression.
I also think the composition would have been stronger if you had left the feet within the frame. Still this is an original entry for the contest, and I can see that a lot of work has been put into this creation. I wish you luck with the contest.
