Your patience was rewarded by this good shot. The lighting is fine and the composition very good with the heron slightly on the left. Good movement of the black wings contrasting with the gleam of the water.

This is a fabulous action shot of your Great Blue Heron. Cathing the bird in this position has resulted in a really great photo. The composition and lighting are spot on, crisp focus and depth of field. Your wait was rewarded. This is almost a once in a lifetime shot. Congratulations.
