Good use of color mixed with shading. The light is grate it is trying hard to get through that old tree. The reflection of light gives lots of depth and was not over done.

This is absolutely my absolute favorite. If I had the money I'd buy it off you immediately because it fits exactly into my interiour :-). It is really beautiful Corrina and the six stars come from the bottom of my heart. I can't say much about your technique as I am not expert at all on liquid paints, I just think it is beautiful and you could sell it easily and produce it on postcards, good luck cards, posters and everything else. I wish you lots of success and keep it up as beautifully as you do!

:-)OK I start saving :-). By the way, check out the artist Lucky Dunbar. I think you will like his style and it is such a pity that collaboration pieces are not allowed on here anymore. Hope all is well in your life and talk to you soon, Iris

Awesome sunset colors. You've made the sunset scorch the canvas with intense heat by your brush strokes. The lone dark leafless tree in the center of the composition conveys sense of loneliness and detachment with its flame-like branches pointing to the infinity of the sky.. The sunset with its spectacular colors, flying birds, fauna less foreground, and distinct horizon remind me of African scenery. Excellent evocative composition.

Thanks so much for such a lovely review. I really like the fact tat you feel this has an African feel, I can see what you mean there. I have soft spot for Africa so thats great to hear.

Guess that colorful images painted in the canvas of our childhood memory remain with us to the end of days...

I was going to say that this piece looked familiar, yes Beny, FAR Premier Mixed Media artist has influenced all of us in some way or another. I like your rendition, very calm and soothing image.

Gorgeous. These purple, red golden sunrises/sunsets are my favorites! You really made the best of them! I love that ominous tree as resting point between the glorious sky and the even as glorious reflections. The birds are an extra treat for the eyes, I like how the canvas shows beneath the colors.

What I find interesting is how folks can basically take one scene and produce such different results. Just like I can't carry a tune in a bucket, I cannot draw or paint.

The scene reminds me of some of the fantasy books I read. Dead tree sticking out of the middle of water. What could possibly be hidden beneath the water? A foreboding scene yet the sunset makes the scene warm, even if not a welcoming scene. I like the horizontal lines of the art, mixed with the vertical tree. The branches add a bit of symmetry to the picture. The birds add a nice effect to the background.

lol you are so right there, it resembles Benys photo but seems to have a different style going on. As soon as I saw the photo I wanted to paint it. Who knows what is lurking beneath those waters, the colours do look inviting but I for one wouldn't wanted to put my toes in there ;) Thank you so much for the review, its so much more appreciated when you know someone has really looked at a piece, Thank you
