I have stared at this photo for several minutes. I even skipped it and then came back. What I find interesting is the difference between the large photo and the smaller version.
The first thing that jumps out at me in the smaller version is the subtle soft colors of the sky in the center of the photo. Yet when I go to the larger version the colors don't seem to be as strong? But that could easily be my eyes. I don't see as well these days...LOL. The sky just looks more vibrant in the smaller version for me?
The second thing that jumps out at me is the tree. I really like the composition of the photo; the angle of the land, the simpleness of the composition, the sky, the sunset. I find the focus of the tree to be distracting. In other words, I find the composition to be perfect by I am let down by the technical quality. But understand that is just me. The next reviewer will say just the opposite. And you obviously know the tree is out of focus and like the effect. It just does not work for me.
What I really like about the photo besides the composition is the sky. I think the sky is magnificent. The clouds, the reflection off the clouds, the subtle colors, the rays...very very nice.
If I were to improve or change anything perhaps I would convert to B/W. I like to add this in my reviews. It is more me just thinking out loud what I might try. This photo looks like it might have a lot of potential in B/W. Of course you would lose the color but you might also be able to enhance the rays and such? Other than the subtle colors, most of it is almost B/W anyway but that is probably what gives the photo its charm.

Sorry to say but the image lacks green. I also am =think the composition is nice, the rub is that it is so out of focus, makes it really hard to enjoy the photo. And of course no really easy way to pick out any greens, even with my vivid imagination.
