I do not know who Paula is but I can say this is a great portrait. Good use of color and contrast. Very lifelike. I AM wondering tho why she is in the painted green contest. Other than the fact that she is from Green country(ireland) I don't see stitch of green in this.

A brilliant portrait. What stands out to me most is how effectively you captured the highlights and shadows. I really do get a sense of the personality of the subject in this portrait and also the passion that went into creating it. Excellent use of color and balance in its distribution.

This is a stunning work of art. Beautiful rendering of light and shadow. You have captured great detail in the facial features and hair. I would just have preferred a little more headroom in the composition.
